Ideas for a country music script?

My client wants a script woth a country music feel. So far the rest of the design rests somewhere between old country (Mesquite) and newer/slick country (clean sans-serifs).

Any ideas, advice or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Use Bickham Script. They’ll never know the difference.

How about Freehand 521?

I’ve always kind of liked it. But splitting the difference between the Rosewoods and Avenirs of this world seems pretty difficult…

Best of Luck!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I am going to try out a few different options and see what they like.

(this part deleted; missed the script part in the header)

And I second Paul’s Zaner recommendation. Sort of like Scarlett Johansson, I’d like anything it was on, just to look at it. (I used to say Kim Basinger for things like this, but I updated it for the youth here rather than hear “Kim who?”).

I like the font Zanner as well. Another one to consider with a little age to it is Dear Sarah which has extended characters for different effects.
