Fellow employee's brother's wife wants to know what the name of the typeface is being used by Late Night with Conan O'Brien. I know I know this one. :^/
argh... it's that one that looks like spumoni and isn't... on the tip of my tongue too.
Do you mean this, Tiff?
Looks very similar to Stymie, but more monoline.
I think she's referring to the jaunty bodoni-esque font for the Late Night logo. The one that's not quite spumoni.
I think this is free or bundle or something... I don't remember; the same as the movie Serendipity (2001)
Oh, you mean this --
I usually keep my web security settings set high so I don't always see all animation and flash files.
Yep that one, Norbert.
....and Pixie (Solotype)
= edit: sorry. d-post =
Yep - Pixie. Digitized by David Rakowski as Pixie and by Panache Graphics as Heatwave.
FYI -- the old twentieth century lettering term for bouncy baseline informal alphabets was Frisky which still seems to work well if used as a search term on MyFonts.com
