I'm looking for a classic french font, much like this one;

Any ideas?
Thanks

'Metropolitain' :)

( Sometimes, this whole ID'ing thing is waaay easier than one may think :)

Well, when the sample actualy spells out the name of the typeface, how hard can it be? :^D

That isn't the same typeface.

But these are :)

( Beware : I am not sure about eventual legal issues involved with these digitisations or / and about linking to these as well, but, there you go )

of course it's not :) But the spirit is the same… So I thought that could interest sleestack ;)

EF Metropolitain is very similar, but I don't think it's the same.

The centre of the M doesn't reach the baseline, and I know the sample is very small but the E looks to me as though it could be based on a lower case form, and the O seems to be wider towards the bottom.

I would have thought that there would be quite a lot of information on the net about these signs, but a quick search didn't come up with much of use.

Thanks, yeah, I was inspired after I saw these creams...The lighting makes it hard to see, but the silver font I believe is very french...
