Is anybody using some sort of theory (like the Golden ratio for example) when creating the different weights for a typeface?
You can find something about it on the website of Lucas de Groot, http://www.lucasfonts.com. Click information and interpolation theorie. Pieter
Lots of people use elaborate 'rational' design theories. They work best when applied after the typeface is already designed. >: )
