I haven't a clue what it is. Perhaps someone around here will be familiar with it.

It's "Black Chancery," a shareware or freeware typeface that has been around for a very long time (in digital font terms).

Black Chancery is one of the first freeware fonts. It is also one of the first "stereotypes", used for every known fantasy convention from 1988-1994.

I just hope that the sample was not actually from promotional materials for a performance of Mozart's opera. Divine music deserves divine typography.
