Job Summary Al Jazeera International, the new 24-hour English-language news and current affairs channel, headquartered in Doha, will broadcast globally in the spring of 2006.
Description With broadcasting centers in Doha, Kuala Lumpur, London and Washington DC, and supporting bureaus worldwide, the channel will provide both a regional voice and a global perspective to a potential world audience of over one billion English speakers.

We are now looking to appoint an experienced and innovative Head of Transmission and Post Production in Doha.

The candidate will have a proven track record in presentation and post, and possess the leadership and drive to establish a launch team, ready for transmission in the spring.

Full familiarity with channel management and transmission automation systems are essential and managing a team within a non-linear environment.

I saw Jon Stewart at Prince Edward Theatre and someone asked about 'shouldn't Fox News be stopped from broadcasting'. I was thinking Bin Laden should make plans on bombing Fox News now that Bush planned to bomb Al Jezeera.

That would be equal opportunities bomber employers.
