Hey guys,
Upon submitting some typefaces to a foundry, they sent me a reply with a list of things to tidy up the typeface.
one of the suggestions was:
Vector Check — About a dozen self-intersecting contours that should be
corrected. Correction time: 10 min.
My question is how do i identify this glyphs? what should i look for.
THANKS FELLAS.

The Microsoft Font Validator might help identify the glyphs. Alternately ask the foundry what tool they used to identify the issue or ask them for a more detailed report.

FontLab's Font Audit should help as well.

The next version of the Adobe FDK will contain a new tool that will find this sort of thing, too. Out in another month or so.
