Dennis is a founder and principal designer at Galápagos Design Group in Littleton, Massachusetts. Prior to founding Galápagos in 1994 Dennis worked for Compugraphic Corporation, Autologic, Inc., and Bitstream, Inc.

Among his many typefaces are Bitstream Chianti,™ Maiandra™ GD family, Baltra™ GD, and ITC Stylus.™

Dennis is also a tremendous fan of the work of Oz Cooper.
