Does anyone recognise this font taken from the Mary Bryant TV show titles?
It's really bugging me because I know it's a simple font with a few alternate versions of certain letters - I'm sure I've seen it around somewhere.
Any help would be most appreciated.

It looks to me like a customized version of Bembo Bold. See the bowing of the K? The swashes are not identical, if you look at the R's.
