Need recommendations for pretty numerals

Hi guys, I’m working on a historic timeline kind of thing, and I need some recommendations for fonts with pretty numerals. The rest of the book has kinda a old / vintage / grungey / handmade feel, but I don’t need these numerals to have this feel. I might or might not distress them.

I kinda like the exploding numerals on the Franck Muller watches too.

Hope you can help. Thanks!

These are neat — they have two positions (slightly up, and slightly down) per numeral for both the serif and the sans variations, and they’re free to boot.

I may 2nd Yves on the ’Crash Numbering Kit’ lettering and I also like the numerals featured in ’Dalliance’..

Edit-A-Bit.: And, You may like the pretty numerals of ’Fleurie’, by Gert Wiescher..

Yeah, I love the Crash Numbering set too! Looooove them to bits. Will be using it for a website soon, hopefully. But for a book, I was hoping for something semi-serious. I though Caslon would have nice numerals, but the zeros are funnily geometric...

The numerals aren’t what I’d expect from a fraktur

You’re right. A most interesting set of numerals, considering the font! And they’re pretty too!

Well, I hope to get more suggestions anyway.

Check out Sumner Stone’s rendition of Bodoni’s Display figures on this page.

Unfortunately, I don’t see a good showing of them on the site, but I have them, and they’re gorgeous.

Karen, I just had an idea. A bit hard to work, but: since it’s a timeline, what if you used a bevy of numeral styles, each typical of the period being marked?

I have always liked the numerals in ITC Tiffany Demi
