(x) Ceramic Tile Center - Hubris (Hollandse), News Gothic {Mike F, Yves}

evan's picture

I have been asked to come up with the fonts on the attached jpeg. I probably can find something similar on the sans, but it's the serif font I am most desparate for.

It has details of many serif fonts, but nothing that I have come across matches this. I have tried "whatthefont" - nothing.

Is this available in a digital format? Can anyone ID either font?

Holland (serif. digital ? I don't think that you're going to find it. Maybe I'm wrong....)

David - I think you are talking about the same typeface that I know by the name of Hollandse. Agfa/MT offers two Compugraphic weights, but the only version that heavy, I believe, was Fontbank's Hubris - which was heavier, even, than the heaviest weight of Hollandse - Bold.

Mike: you're right. This is the same typeface. I saw that "Hollandse", but I didn't think... So... I'm wrong, Evan.

(BTW, if you have "Homage to the Alphabet" pp. 213-4 — you can see Holland)

The sans is a slightly extended News Gothic Bold if I'm not mistaken.

I just hope that you're going to use the typeface by Agfa/MT.
