grammar proportions

Sacha's picture

Hey, I was wondering if there are some 'standard' proportions dealing with the sizes of grammatical characters and the rest of the alphabet? Any rules of thumb?

Sorry: the term "grammatical characters" does not compute. Do these characters have another name?

does analphabetic characters help? virgules, semi-colons, periods, brackets, paranthesis . . . all of them.

Thanks for the link, Dan.

It helps immensely..."punctuation" works, too.

Is there a good reason to get so bitter about terminology-naming errors?

I printed out a lot of the sections from that link you gave me, Dan, I appreciate it. It is great to know that there are some kind of standards to jump from or to break.

I have these printed out, too, Sacha. I like having them around.
