This is my first font so i was just wondering if i'm heading in the right direction. it's inspired by the kind of stuff you see on warplanes and airbases etc. help me out.

To be honest, it looks a bit too much like simply a white line through the font. Maybe work on the stencil appearance by altering the position of the breaks.
Shape of the actual letters is okay. Capital G could be better, seems too heavy.
