(x) ITC Avant Garde Gothic, The original? - w/ Alternates {Eduardo}

I've desperately been searching for a digital version of Herb Lubalin's Avant Garde, that is, the ORIGINAL (from the late 60s, used in the magazine), not the book, gothic, condensed, or mono versions that I've been finding everywhere else (yes, including ITC and Linotype).

I'm fairly confident that it exists. I've seen it used in designs here and there.

for example, this Travis CD cover.

And this Japanese designer's webpage: http://www.nendo.com

I a newbie to the typographic world, so show me some love!

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ryan.

It's available from FontShop Australia, IIRC.

Rock on. thanks, Eduardo and Yves.

I'm in North America, so I'll give the local FontShop a call and see if they can hook me up with the goods.

Otherwise, I'M GOIN' TO AUSTRAILA, BABY!!!!!!

The best thing to do is to call your local FontShop and
ask for ITC Avant Garde Gothic with Alternates.

This just in: FontShop.com now has the Avant Garde Alternates.
They are Elsner+Flake's updated versions of Scangraphic's AG.
