Looking for new Sans Serif for project

Walkman123z's picture

I working on the new 2006 Corvette apparel and accesories catalog for GM. I want a new face for the item names in the copy. Something sans serif and modern, but very readable at 10pt or so. I'm thinking of using Avenir for the descriptive copy for this, so something that will stand out from that.

Ideas and recommendations?

Thanks-

I don't think a staid sans like Avenir would work for Corvette.
You need something more aggressive and hip, like maybe Klavika,
or something else from here: http://typographi.com/000969.php

Klavika is just the kind of thing I've been looking for.

BTW- Avenir is just for the body copy for the item, it has to be clean and simple.
The set-up would look something like this:

A. Classic Leather Jacket (Klavika)
This leather jacket is yada, yada, yada (Avenir)
Item number, size, price (Avenir)

Any other fonts in that realm anyone can recommend?

If you could find something slightly more rigid than Avenir*, that would be a better match both with Klavika and the subject.

* With some gentle straightness in the bowls.

OK, Tiffany will recommend Stainless* any second now... :-)
I would too, actually.
