Trying to figure out what typeface the "G" is. Also, "MUSIC" is very close to Times New Roman but seems to be slightly different. Any bit helps. Thanks!
I don't know about /G.
"MUSIC" looks more like Georgia than Times New Roman
The _G_ is a trademarked logo for the Georgetown Hoyas
Adobe Caslon is the official typeface for Georgetown University. http://visualidentity.georgetown.edu/typography
_MUSIC_ should therefore be Adobe Caslon bold, presumably condensed for use on the shirt.
So definitely custom as it's only used for this /G. To me, they've probably started from a heavy sans (like Gotham, Proxima Nova...) turning terminals into spiky serifs. Ready-to-go alternatives: Snag, Deskplate
Proxima Nova seems a little closer than Gotham. It could be modified. The weight of the blue portion of _G_ is somewhere between Proxima Nova Bold and Proxima Nova Extra Bold.
Thanks you guys for finding this information. It helped a ton!
