JosieLuci's picture

Hi,
I'm trying to identify the font in the iconic Reno arch, http://www.zazzle.com/reno_sign_white_photo-190514313624163826

Please help if you know it!

Don't know the original name (if it exists) and rather a custom (neon) signage than a font to me.
Not perfect (3-lined) but you may like Mexcellent as substitute.

Almost the same design but only three lines T26 FGroove http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/t26/fgroove/

Five lines, with somewhat similar design Millennium5Lines;

Also triline but adding Pump Triline to the list.

It was almost certainly done by hand. Not very competently, either—the lack of undershoot on the O betrays lack of lettering knowledge.

Thanks everyone. The Mexcellent font seems to be the closest sub. I think you're right Thomas, it was probably done by hand.
