Simplify the outline in Font Forge

hamest's picture

Hey,
I have a font which I need to simplify the outline on. That means getting rid of all bezier curve in every single letter and turn them into something similar as the image I've uploaded.

Do you know how to do it in any font software?
I have access to FontForge and Glyphs. But if you know how to do it in Font Lab or any other software I would be happy to know how.

Any help is very much appreciated :)
Thank you

I discovered this by accident: If you export a TrueType font from FontLab Studio, and import it in Glyphs, you’ll get something like this. I don’t know how to build Glyphs-files in FontForge, but I’d be happy to help you out.

You can do this in FontForge using the Python scripting.
