Commercial sans-serif fonts / typefaces with slanted cuts or angled cuts taken out of the letter shapes?

Not a type ID question as I don't have an example.

I am looking for sans serif fonts that have slanted or angled cuts taken out of the letters - a bit like the John Lewis logo.

Angles could be anything from 30 to 45 degrees.

I'm sure I've seen a few things but can't place them?

I attached the image as an example, not looking for this specifically.

So "Def not Interstate" means that interstate doesn't meet your requirements? From your description it seems like a perfect fit - why don't you like it? Style, license, fear of driving on the freeway, something else?

I'm guessing he once had a falling out with Paula Sher. You know, the designer of the Citibank logo.

how did you know I fell out with old Paula?

Because I wanted to widen the gamut.
