I'm bumping this one because it looks so familiar - and yet we've not ID'd it. It feels like I'm missing the obvious.
Hi Mike, the very round and equal size upper and lower bowls on g are distinctive. But like you I can't place it from memory.
Right, that g should do it but I looked at it when it first came up and did not have a thought.

Good find Bob! The differences are trivial and my be due to the process used to present the letters.
At the very least you have placed the target on Caslon's 1720ca Dutch design.
