Fiddler on the Roof

Can anyone suggest a body font for play bills for a middle school production of Fiddler on the Roof? The show's logo is done by hand (and follows the style of several of the classic Fiddler logos) so I can't just use what the logo designer used.

Thank you very much.

A nice allusion to Jewish culture would be to use a font that has horizontal stroke stress, such a FF Balance.

Well, the musical is set in 1905 in Tsarist Russia. A period typeface would be good, or something evocative of the period....

Perhaps Jenson Oldstyle (the ATF/LTC typeface)? http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/lanston/ltc-jenson/
