The letters look like some kind of Baskerville Old Face
The only version I have found with this /& is a font named CPBaskerville [(c) Computer Design Department 1991] but I don't have any more info about it and I don't know if it's still available.

A very similar ampersand, at a thicker weight is found in Pistilli Roman These are variations on the ampersand designed by Caslon and used in Caslon italic versions.
