Another question regarding Monographs on Greenland. This is from the cover of a 1946 volume. It looks very much like Century Expanded EF, but the R, among other things, is different.

I've compared the two a bit closer now, and I've noticed a few differences; for instance the leg of the Augustea R points slightly upwards, whereas the one in the attached example points slightly downwards; the C is a little different too.
Here's an example from a 1931 issue (Monographs on Greenland), perhaps a slightly more condensed version.
