Intuos 5 scrolls glyph window (Fontlab 5.1.4 Mac)

Kristian M's picture

Fontlab behaves funny when I use my tablet in glyph window mode.
Every time when I put my pen-hand or mouse on the tablet, Fontlab scrolls down a couple of rows. What’s happening? Oh, and yes ”Enable touch input is turned off”.

Has any one else had a similar experience?

Hello Kristian,

I had the same problem, month, maybe a year ago. But as far as I can remember thas was not a problem bound to FontLab. I remember TextEdit had the same strange problem.

The bad news, I’m not 100% sure how I resolved the problem. Don’t let me say something wrong, but I think, when I installed a newer driver version for Intuos (I have a 4) the problem was still there. But when I installed an older driver it worked again.

Have you installed the newest driver for Intuos?
It sounds crazy, but try to install an older driver.

Same here with a Bamboo tablet. Will try a different driver.

Thank you Thomas,

I tried a couple of legacy drivers (6.3.6-w3 and 6.3.5-3) but the problem is that they don’t seem to be supported i Mavricks :-/

I must correct myself, it was TextWrangler who had the same problem, not TextEdit.
Well, I’m on Mountain Lion and using the 6.3.3.-3 drivers.

So, good to know, that updating to Mavericks isn’t a good idea, for now.

Previous driver solved the problem also on OSX 10.8.5
