If you're talking about Neiman Marcus main woodmark, I don't think it's a font, rather a custom lettering.
Eyehawk@MF WhatTheFontForum suggested to start with "... Snapper Script A&S, straightened it out, and scaled it up vertically, and it looked like it might work."
Snapper Script A&S slanted 20 degrees left & compressed 50%.
The freehand Neiman Marcus trademark has been around for at least 70 years (see ad from Vogue in 1944, when you could buy a chic outfit from Neiman Marcus and still get change back from a fifty). It has undergone many small modifications over the years, and somewhere along the line they dropped the hyphen.
Does anyone know who did the lettering?
