Does anyone recognize this as a digital font? If not, is there anything close to it?
Close to it:
Quill Script by Tommy Thompson. Very popular in the 60's.
It was included in Photolettering, Letraset, VCG, Solotype and Monotype Catalogs.
There are lots of digitization by various foundries. All pretty similar (but not exactly the same).
FWIW, unless I missed it in my quick scan, it's not in Jaspert's Type Encylopedia of 1970. There seems to be a connected version for the smaller size and an un-connected for the larger. As for substitutes, there are a variety of possibilities that would evoke the style and possible era of the sample
Has anyone seen a digital version of Quill Script by Tommy Thompson?

No match, but as PabloImpallari says, Quill is close. The others I mentioned also work as substitutes, depending on the tone you want.
