Substitution for Proxima Nova when bold / at small size

NinjaBread's picture

I'm using Proxima Nova on a project and don't get me wrong, it's a great font. That is, however, until you need to use bold and at sizes of 15px or less (whether I'm using regular with bold styling or Proxima Nova Bold).

Any suggestions for a font that looks good in bold at small sizes which would work alongside Proxima Nova?

Thanks!

If you can convince H&FJ to let you use Gotham before they release their webfont service, I suspect that’s a better option. Can you show a screenshot of what looks bad, btw? Otherwise, take a look at the Webtype fonts under the “small” tab. They have some geometric sans serifs.

mmm... maybe Raleway, and maybe using the Semibold instead of the bold at such small sizes
