I’ve now heard from two people who went to the Apple store event(s), and it seems the presentation wasn’t very salesy at all, with a lot of interesting (and in this case not surprisingly, entertaining) things shown.

Dr Levon Chookaszian will give a lecture (in Armenian, but with a lot of illustrations) on "THE DECORATED LETTERS OF ARMENIAN MANUSCRIPTS", at the Glendale Central Library (222 E. Harvard St.) on Sunday, March 20, at 4:00 p.m. I'll be there, but the extent of real-time translation I could provide depends on many factors. :-)

I think you should definately give Todai a try, it's to-die for. ;)

I checked the yellow pages (Yahoo one) for Katsu and I didn't find it, so I guess they'ren't around any longer.

Please let me know when there's something cool going on in LA typography/graphic design-wise. Because I'd love to go... I'm still a newbie to a certain things and I'd like to learn more.
