I guess Opera looks for a “favicon.ico” in the root directory of the website.
But still, the pages should point the browsers to that location:
link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”http://www.typophile.com/favicon.ico” type=”image/x-icon”

It’s an easy fix.

Well it doesn’t show up in Firefox or Safari for me either, but Opera is just fine, and I’m nearly 100% it’s not in that cache.

You actually can permalink to comments, too. But you have to look into the source code to get the id.
Yours is:

Thus, its url would be:

Hi, I’m new here. I really love the look and feel of the place but I just think one thing is missing: the webicon. It’s not super difficult to code one in and for me it would make this site feel a bit more complete, especially with the way the page titles don’t start with Typophile- or something. Thoughts?
