The first sample uses a version of San Serif Shaded (Wm. Thorowgood, 1839). Dieter Steffmann offers his version and Opti reportedly had a version.

Ultinoid seems to be a grungier version of the first sample. I’m guessing it was originally a Letraset font from back in the day.

also, this one might be hard as my scanner is broken, the font used in the photo bit (at the back in red) of ’Beauty and the book’?
