Safari is definitely the way to go...Safari 2.0 in Tiger renders pages a lot faster than Firefox for Mac, too.

Almost everybody who uses a Mac, uses Safari or FireFox with Safari the vast majority. If you are looking at web page browser issues on a Mac, Safari is a must. The only folks who use IE are still on System 9 or work at that company you visit:-)

Since I develop web sites frequently, I use IE, Firefox and Netscape on the Mac (most popular by common users)... but have not loaded Safari, on my PCs I use IE, Firefox and Netscape as well.

Guess I don’t have to be afraid of long first posts. One is forthcoming soon. Thanks for the input.

One thing I find annoying is the larger text settings of the first post as seen on Macs. On PCs the first post is the same text size as the reply thread.

The larger text size on Macs is fine for just a few sentences, but on long copy it’s unwieldly. I’ve been reluctant to start off a topic with long copy. Instead, I’ve posted the main idea and followed it up my own reply adding the longer copy.
