dezcom (your first entry) – love the t – it's so strong, difficult to separate the black characters.

mans – so much symbolism here! i see: the conceptual aspect of celebration as 'looking back' and the printing aspect of reversing type.

keady – love the contrasts, vibrancy and perfect balance of your first entry. a winner, methinks. stripes, stripes, stripes also nice. another ten: lovely. also love 1 [heart]

jan – broke all the rules in such a clever way.

grant – another winner: the heart. so different. wow.

randy – clever! but i'd drop the explanation. so elegant and strong on its own.

dave m – artful – could see this printed 1m by 1m and hanging on my wall.

Just as a reaction to some of the very geometric computery ones, here's something scratched out with a felt-tip. Drawing aids banned (ruler and Tipp-ex included)...

I like Nina's (which reminds us of the origins of the exclamation mark),
Huang's cricket bat made me smile (because I'm British – god, I hope it was a cricket bat having said that),
